Conningbrook Lakes Public Spaces Protection Order

Ashford Borough Council has launched a consultation on a proposed Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO) for Conningbrook Lakes. This PSPO will allow the council to tacked anti-social behaviour in Conningbrook Lakes. This area has been identified for a PSPO as there have been a number of police reports and complaints from residents that this area has a degree of nuisance issues, which impacts on local people and wildlife. Implementing a PSPO in Conningbrook Lakes will allow us to prosecute or issue fixed penalty notices (FPNs, also known as "fines") to those engaging in anti-social behaviour.

We'd like your views on safety around Conningbrook Lakes, and would like to know what problems you think are of greatest concern. Please fill out our consultation questionnaire to have your say. Your responses will help us to decide whether to introduce this PSPO and if we need to make any changes to the planned PSPO. The area the PSPO will cover is shown in the map below:

This consultation will run from 9am 12 April 2021 to midnight on 10 May 2021.
