To be "Sound" a Plan should be Positively Prepared, Justified, Effective and Consistent with National Policy

Policy S5 – Land South of Pound Lane (MC12)

This site is adjacent to the Whitewater Dyke, a main river. Please note that any development at this site must respect the river corridor through provision of a suitable buffer zone of at least 8m from the top of the river banks. Rivers form an important wildlife corridors and ecological networks which Section 117 of the National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF) specifies need to be preserved and restored.
