As recognised by the policy document there is concern regarding public safety of the existing at-grade Public Rights of Way railway crossings. The developing County Park will be a desirable destination for new residents and significant increases of the existing at-grade crossings are inevitable. Consequently, KCC considers that the delivery of the proposed Bridge crossing must be a requirement of the proposed development.

The provision of 2.05 hectares of land for a 2 Form of Entry (FE) Primary School (to be transferred at nil cost to the County Council and in accordance with KCC's General Transfer Requirements) will be required. The County Council will also request financial contributions towards the construction costs of any new education provision required to mitigate the impact of the proposed development. It is also requested that prior to the preparation of any masterplan, development plan documents or deve

The County Council – as Local Minerals and Waste Planning Authority - confirms that, according to British Geological Survey safeguarding data, Sandstone (Folkestone Formation) is present within the allocated site and is vulnerable to sterilisation. As set out in the adopted Kent Minerals and Waste Local Plan 2013-2030, Policy CSM 5: Land-won Mineral Safeguarding and Policy DM 7: Safeguarding Mineral Resources detail how minerals of economic importance will be safeguarded from being unnecessaril

Policy S2 allocates upto 700 dwellings on 'Land north-east of Willesborough Road, Kennington'. In line with paragraph 162 of the National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF) and the National Planning Practice Guidance (NPPG), we have undertaken an assessment of our infrastructure, including its ability to meet the forecast demand for the proposed development. That assessment reveals that: (i) the site is in close proximity to Ashford wastewater treatment works (WTWs), (ii) additional local sewe

I am a resident of Canon Woods Way and work at Dungeness, to where I commute. The traffic congestion on the Willesborough Road at peak times is already almost intolerable, frequently causing ten minute delays to get to the junction 10 roundabout from Kennington. The traffic is often backed up from the William Harvey roundabout almost down to where the road narrows and, in addition to my frustration, must cause significant inconvenience to all local residents in that part of Willesborough trying

Soils Many of the site allocations are stated to be on agricultural land, but only one allocation mentions the land classification - Land North-East of Willesborough Road, Kennington which is approximately 60% grade 1. It would avoid confusion if all sites using agricultural land mention the land classification and whether they impact Best and Most Versatile (BMV) land. Land to the North East of Willesborough Road, Kennington 60% of this allocation is categorised as grade 1 BMV agricultural l

Paragraph 4.32 I reject the claim that KCC requires additional school capacity and that building a 2 form entry school will satisfy this. building a school will address the needs of the new residents and will not address schools capacity issue.

Paragraph 4.21 I oppose the allocation of Land North of Willesborough Road Kennington, known as S2 because the road infrastructure is unable to support an increase in traffic and proposed development is therefore unsustainable. something the nation Planning Policy Framework demands. Previous applications to develop this site were refused and upheld by the planning inspectorate with traffic generation being one of the primary considerations.
