2/ KINGSNORTH - The development along Steeds Lane & Bond Lane will have an adverse and dramatic affect on Kingsnorth Village. No road improvement planning for extra traffic generated by this development [WE16 b,d,f,e,17,18 & 37] can improve the traffic situation in Steeds & Stumble Lane - two single lane roads without footpaths and where traffic cannot pass side by side. Because of the massive development in this vicinity that has already taken place, these lanes are already coping with far more

The County Council – as Local Minerals and Waste Planning Authority - confirms that, according to British Geological Survey safeguarding data, Limestone (Weald Clay Formation) is present within the allocated site and is vulnerable to sterilisation. As set out in the adopted Kent Minerals and Waste Local Plan 2013-2030, Policy CSM 5: Land-won Mineral Safeguarding and Policy DM 7: Safeguarding Mineral Resources detail how minerals of economic importance will be safeguarded from being unnecessaril

The County Council considers that a number of Public Rights of Way would be affected as acknowledged by the policy and therefore supports paragraph 4.57. Policy S4 (g) Support with the following advice.

The County Council will require proportionate financial contributions towards the construction costs of any new education provision (including the new primary school at Court Lodge) required to mitigate the impact of the proposed development. Additional contributions for the provision of County Council Services including facilities for delivering early help and other services within the new community building at Court Lodge will be required. Furthermore, it is requested that the new community b

Policy S4 allocates up to 320 dwellings on 'Land north of Steeds Lane and Magpie Hall Road'. In line with paragraph 162 of the National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF) and the National Planning Practice Guidance (NPPG), we have undertaken an assessment of our infrastructure, including its ability to meet the forecast demand for the proposed development. That assessment reveals that: (i) additional local sewerage infrastructure would be required to accommodate the proposed development (invol

I would like to provide my feedback/objections to development in Kingsnorth (TN23 3EP) The roads through and around Kingsnorth cannot cope with existing traffic, new roads are needed before any building commences. Junction 10 cannot cope with existing traffic and there is no sign of J10a. That too needs to be built before any more houses are built. Hospitals, Doctors Surgeries, Dentists etc. The William Harvey cannot cope with existing population. More facilities, such as a new hospital and Dr

The attached document outlines our concerns in Part 1, Section 4 that our Parishioners have found it extremely difficult to comment on the Plan. Thus we consider that question 4 is flawed as we do not have professional legal or planning knowledge. Part l also looks at the policies which we consider are UNSOUND. Part two of the attached document places objections to two sites in Kingsnorth Parish, S3 Court Lodge (page 50) and S4 Land north of Steeds Lane and Magpie Hall Road (page 55) which we c

Omission site - see accompanying plans and statement The allocation of a site for 40 houses at Kingsnorth Glebe would help to sustain and support local services and make a contribution to a range of deliverable housing sites across the Borough. The S4 Draft allocation 400 metres to the south of Kingsnorth could not deliver sustainable development as currently configured, it would be a free standing development in the countryside lacking the critical mass to deliver community facilities. The sit

The land North of Steeds Lanealso has a high number of dwellings proposed . The lane is prone to flooding and if houses are built on the fields where will the water drain away? The road infrastructure is not capable of coping with more traffic and the junction at Steeds Lane/Magpie Hall Road is extremely busy and gets more dangerous with each influx of vehicles. Steeds Lane has also become a rat run for traffic from the Hamstreet bypass and more homes mean even more traffic. With Ashford be

Please find my comments attached that I submitted in relation to P/P 15/00856/AS, that also apply to Kingsnorth in general. KINGSNORTH - Land North of Steeds Lane (WE16) There was strong opposition for Kingsnorth to be considered as a third urban expansion zone to Ashford during the previous Local Plan process, as well as concerns over its development suitability and quite clearly, this is still the case. Since the 2008 Core Strategy was adopted, Ashford is no longer regarded as a regional gro
