Pubic Rights of Way
Whilst the emerging Local Plan is largely supported from a Public Rights of Way perspective, KCC notes that no reference is made to the County Council's Countryside Access Improvement Plan.

I am delighted that there is the intention to develop cycle and pedestrian routes, to encourage the use such transport instead of the private car.

Planning for pedestrians is vital to both encourage walking as a leisure activity and also as a way to get to a destination i.e. local shops, town centre or schools. The routes need to be well planned and link, to make this possible.
