Support Policy S7 (e) Specifically, the Southern Footway requires widening which could be achieved through re-alignment of the retaining wall in this location. The destination will lend itself to sustainable access and it is imperative that this site delivers enhancements and good pedestrian and cycle connectivity to the mainline station.

POLICY S6 – FORMER NEWTOWN WORKS POLICY S7 – FORMER KLONDYKE WORKS Policy S6 proposes that the site of the former Newtown Railway Works provides a mixed use neighbourhood based around the regeneration of the area through the restoration of the range of listed railway buildings to create an attractive new place to live and work and for visitors to enjoy. Policy S7 proposes that the site of the former Klondyke Railway Works has an alternative use as a residential development. Policies S6 and S
