This is a village that means we love it as it is. No street lights, only one shop, maybe a post office. Bus that comes when it wants to and breaks down very often. have to get a bus to get to the doctors. Full school no more places. you are trying to bring people here who will hate country life. The houses that are up for sale take a long time to sell. There will be no jobs for them. We have the Kentish Spirit here do not make it into a town Please!

S27 Requires greater community consultation. It seems highly likely no building for the community will be built at this site in the given timeframe. Also a danger that 60 homes could be built...... S27 is not effective

The Policy S27 fails to properly consider the requirements of the 2013 community-led document "Biddenden our future" which assesses the need for up to 60 new dwellings to the period ending 2023. The Local Plan period up to 2030 should therefore include for at least a 60 unit provision. The proposal to allocated 45 new dwellings on just one site will produce a "suburban sprawl" form of back land development that will not integrate well socially or provide a positive contribution to the rural cha

CPRE understands this proposal is being prepared by Biddenden Parish Council in consultation with the community and does not object to the proposal. Given the historic patchwork of small fields, with a similarly interesting mosaic of hedgerows linking ponds and small woodland features beyond the site, it would be appropriate to consider reducing the number of homes suitable for this site. This proposal should be design-led, preserving the landscape character and habitat features and this will i

I do not believe S27 Is consistent with the NPPF of sustainable development, due to the inadequate capacity of infrastructure, education and transport.

I refer to S27 (biddenden North street. I raise three points as regards these plans for Biddenden. 1: The infrastucture is inadequate for the housing already in existence, IE Sewerage works over subscribed. Primary School oversubscibed. 2: Lack of policing (mostly done by volunteers IE Speedwatch, neighbourhood watch. 3: Extra Traffic further adding to the chaos of the headcorn (roadracers). In short more housing would further degrade what little is left of our once pretty little village, w

The housing need isn't justified in this small village. There are plenty of houses being built nearby. This development would spread the village centre unnecessarily and spoil the character of this beautiful village. The Local Community Plan recognised a need for a small amount of infill development and this is taking place. A development on this scale doesn't fit with the Local Community Plan, the villages requirements or the villages needs. Please reconsider and reject this particular developm

S27 has not been positively prepared and objectively assessed against infrastructure and transport needs S27 is not justified. The evidence in survey of 10/10/14 is inaccurate, the research is flawed, it has not been justified. As it stands S27 is not effective. It is not possible to deliver S27 without far more community consultation which will take a long time. It seems more likely that no building for the community will be built at that site within the time frame and that there is a danger th

Biddenden Parish Council has considered both of the above-mentioned policies and agreed its formal position on policies S27 and S43 of the Ashford Borough Council Local Plan to 2030. These policies were discussed at the parish council meeting held on 12 July 2016. It was agreed that there should be no more than 20-25 houses on the proposed S27 site, not the 45 units proposed by the Draft ABCLocal Plan. Any amount over 20-25 units will be opposed by Biddenden Parish council. ABC would seem not t
