Local Plan to 2030 - Publication Draft STRATEGIC POLICIES Promoting High Quality Design Content

Providing a high quality design has been problematic in the past with pressure to increase density of housing losing out to quality considerations and there is no recognition of this in the policy.

Local Plan to 2030 - Publication Draft TOPIC POLICIES SECTION F - IMPLEMENTATION Funding and Delivery of Infrastructure Funding and Delivery of Infrastructure

  • Comment ID: ALP/2394
  • Status: Accepted
Chilham Parish Council has found it challenging to engage effectively in the process of identifying and influencing the infrastructure required to support new development, and there is no recognition of the fact that a number of responsibilities have been devolved to parish councils.

Local Plan to 2030 - Publication Draft SITE POLICIES Exclusive Home Sites Chilham - Mulberry Hill, Old Wives Lees

  • Comment ID: ALP/2397
  • Status: Accepted
Agreement in principle to this type of development in the parish, but serious concerns as the site has no credentials over and above the site in the parish that was recently rejected by the planning inspectorate listing the unsuitability of the settlement of Old Wives Lees for this type of development (see Appeal Decision APP/E2205/W/15/3139821).
