Support Policy S12 (b)
Public Footpath AU38 forms the basis of the strategic "Learning Link" which will remain a critical piece of the future Cycle network heading South from the town centre. This policy appears to protect and enhance this route including references to overlooking which are fully supported.

The County Council will require proportionate financial contributions towards the construction costs of any new education provision required to mitigate the impact of the proposed development. Additional contributions for the provision of County Council Services (e.g. Adult Social Care, Youth Services and Libraries) will also be required.

4.132 and 4.140 So more residential to go on the Jemmett Road and Ashford South School sites. Jemmett Road provides essential parking for Victoria Park, and parking places are already hard to come by for residents. So whatever is built there, parking is essential. Roads access is currently poorly surfaced and complicated.

It is noted that a number of sites are allocated for development including S12 and S13. Development that would either involve the loss of playing field or prejudice the use of the playing field would be strongly resisted by Sport England.
