The County Council will require financial contributions towards KCC services including towards the construction costs of any new education provision required to mitigate the impact of this development.

The County Council – as Local Minerals and Waste Planning Authority - confirms that, according to British Geological Survey safeguarding data, sub alluvial river terrace deposits are present within the allocated site and are vulnerable to sterilisation. CPRE does not object to this proposed allocation. Part 'c:' of the policy should refer to 'northern and western' boundaries. This is a correction to the policy.

There should be within the local plan provision for a STRATEGIC GAP OF UNDEVELOPED LAND AROUND MERSHAM to maintain it's village community
