The County Council will require financial contributions towards KCC services including towards the construction costs of any new education provision required to mitigate the impact of this development.

Having viewed the plan I have the following objection. The "Green link" proposed is described as giving pedestrian access but then mentions "an opportunity to provide an emergency access point through Kirkwood Avenue". There is no explanation of what exactly this might be, what form it will take or even why it is considered necessary. A development of eight dwellings has no need of an emergency access point, for whom? Does this emergency access mean that the road will be extended from Kirkwood A

In regards to site S39, the same issues rear their head as this is a section of the village that again opens up and gives space within a build up area of the village. To look at developing this area of the village seems again to take away the whole ambience. If the view is to build and infill every part of all villages, then they will lose their identity and just become small built up areas on the drive to Ashford. I believe the you as local planners have a responsibility to uphold the views of

I am opposed to any penetration of the "Green Heart of the Village" such as a development at this site which is out of character with this part of Lower Road. The is no specification for mixed housing which is contrary to NPPF 50 and any developer will design for 4/5 bedroom houses which are not affordable by the village. There is no positive statement to ensure that no more than 8 houses will be built. Parking on Lower Road at this location is unacceptable and would cause dangerous obstructi

P. 151. POLICY S39. Woodchurch, Lower Road. This is an allocated site for 8 houses. We approve of this site subject to the sewerage system being adequate, and that the houses are well designed so as not to overwhelm or adversely affect the conservation area.

Introduction * The need for a future housing mix addressing local requirements in Woodchurch was identified in the 2004 Village Plan and further reinforced in the 2014 Survey and subsequent consultations. * This need is not addressed in the 2030 Plan. The Parish's view is that our community's needs are not being prioritised in this plan and that favouring commuter style market homes to meet housing targets is unacceptable. The Lower Road Site Woodchurch Parish Council requested Ashford Borou

Reference Identified sites Woodchurch S39 on Lower Road Dear or Madam, I wish to air my views on the above subject. I understand that the government may decree that we need more housing in this country. However with the onset of Brexit will this actual now be necessary if entry to this country is restricted. I would object in the grounds that the village is just fine now, there are houses on the market, some still unsold, so why do we need development – just for the sake of it? GJ Hatter (

We object to the proposed development to the 'Green Heart of the village' and are concerned that development of this site does not become an encroachment on further green spaces within the village The mix of housing has not been specified which is contrary to NPPF 50 and we are concerned that more luxury housing will be sited here which is not what the village needs. We need smaller properties built to enable the younger members of our community to buy a property and therefore inject a much nee
