Policy ENV2 - The Ashford Green Corridor

The protection and enhancement of Ashford’s Green Corridor is a key objective.

This is considered a key objective of ABC but the site selection criteria have assigned negative scores to sites which are bordering or include areas of the green corridor. This includes sites where the submission documents provided by the landowner have stated an intention for development outside the green corridor to fund environmental enhancement to the green corridor and greater public access/amenity

What changes do you suggest to make the document legally compliant or sound? The site scoring should be reviewed to reflect the council's policy
Do you consider it necessary to participate at the oral part of the examination? Yes
Does your representation relate to an omission site (a site that has not been included). For example a site for Housing, Employment, Travellers, or Local Green Spaces. No
Please supply details of the omission site.
