Retaining and encouraging biodiversity is vital; the proposed green corridors should help. But where developments are planned the loss of habitats, should be considered especially as we have some rare species living in the neighbourhood. Likewise, historical sites should also be looked at carefully and preserved where possible as once they are lost they are lost for good!
