It is a duty of the Kent Downs AONB Partnership (of which Ashford Borough Council is a member) to monitor the condition of the Kent Downs AONB. Proposed headline indicators are set out in the Kent Downs AONB Management Plan.  Therefore an indicator should be included that relates to the condition of the AONB as a means of monitoring the effectiveness of policy ENV3.
