Please note we are in the process of transferring to a new consultation portal system and the consultation responses on this consultation may be temporarily unavailable to view whilst we make this transition.
The Chilmington Green Area Action Plan (AAP) is one of the key documents of the Ashford Local Development Framework (LDF). It proposes a policy framework to deliver a major urban extension to Ashford of up to 5,750 homes and 1,000 jobs over a period of twenty five years or so. It contains policies on several topics, such as community infrastructure, transport improvements, ecology and what character the different parts of the site should have.
The Publication document is the version of the AAP which the Council intends to submit to the Secretary of State for public examination by an independent government inspector. The Council may wish to make changes to the contents of this Publication version, in light of any comments received. Should these be significant changes, another formal consultation exercise will take place later in the year.
The background documents which have helped inform the plan, can be viewed here.
The responses made during the public consultation period can be found by clicking the 'view comments' tab at the bottom of the pages within the main consultation document or through the link at the bottom of this page.
