The Neighbourhood Plan has been formally adopted in March 2022

Following the positive referendum result, Ashford Borough Council has published its decision to 'make' the Egerton Neighbourhood Plan as part of Ashford Borough Council's Development Plan in accordance with Regulation 19 of the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012.

Independent Examination and Referendum of the Neighbourhood Plan.

Ashford Borough Council appointed Mr. Derek Stebbing B.A. (Hons), Dip. E.P., MRTPI as the Independent Examiner of the Egerton Neighbourhood Plan in August 2021. The Independent Examination concluded in November 2021 and a Referendum was held in February 2022.
