Equalities Policy Consultation

Ashford Borough Council has developed a new Equalities Policy 2026 to 28 to set out its commitment to promoting equality, valuing diversity and fostering an inclusive environment for residents, service users, councillors, and employees.

We are seeking feedback to help ensure the policy effectively supports the Council's equality objectives and meets the needs of our communities and workforce.

This consultation asks for your views on whether the proposed policy will help the Council achieve each of its equality objectives. For each objective, please indicate whether you agree, disagree, or do not know and provide any comments you wish to make.

All feedback received will be reviewed and considered.
