Ashford Borough Council is seeking your views on the proposed renewal of the Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO) for the gating of the Unnamed footpath to the rear of Henley Fields, Tenterden (see the map on the following page). PSPOs are legal tools introduced under the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014 to help councils tackle persistent anti-social behaviour (ASB) issues that negatively impact the quality of life in public places. They are designed to ensure that everyone can enjoy these areas safely and responsibly.
Your feedback is essential. This consultation gives you the opportunity to share your views on the proposed renewal of this PSPO. The responses will help shape the final decision and ensure that the PSPO reflects the needs and priorities of the local community.

Restrictions
The PSPO relates to the unnamed footpath to the rear of Henley Fields, Tenterden, Kent.
The effect of this order is to restrict the public right of way over the restricted area by gating at four locations along the footpath as shown in blue on the map below.
