Ashford Borough Council is asking for residents to have their say on the Landscape Masterplan Framework for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Park (also known as Discovery Park).
The Queen's Platinum Jubilee Park (QPJP) will be a strategic park for all of Ashford's residents to enjoy. Once delivered the Park will join up Chilmington Green to Court Lodge as part of the South of Ashford Garden Community (SAGC). It will be a new, major open space and recreational area which will include sports pitches, indoor sports buildings, play space and formal, landscaped areas for people and habitats for local wildlife.
To deliver a high quality strategic park for the borough, ABC has prepared a Landscape Masterplan Framework to set out the key 'character' areas of the Park and provide an illustrative view of how the Park may look in the future.
We would like your comments on the Masterplan.
